 H-type pretreatment column 2.7-2.9μeq, 1cc, 50pcs/pk Remove alkaline earth metal ions, transition metal ions and carbonate ions in the sample matrix, and also used to neutralize the strong alkalinity of the sample solution

1. The activation and use steps of common pretreatment cartridges
 
 1.1C18 and RP column
 
(1) Use a disposable syringe to draw 5 mL of chromatographic pure methanol and push it into the C18 or RP cartridge at a flow rate of 2~4 mL/min;
 
(2) Use a disposable syringe to draw 10mL of secondary deionized water and push it into the C18 or RP cartridge at a flow rate of 2~4mL/min;
 
(3) C18 or RP cartridges should be placed flat for 20 minutes to ensure their full activation;
 
(4) Use a disposable syringe to draw the sample solution, push it into the C18 or RP cartridge at a flow rate of 2~4mL/min, and discard the first 3mL;
 
(5) Collect the following liquid, combine it with a needle filter, and directly enter the ion chromatography for analysis, or transfer it to a sample bottle for sample injection analysis through an autosampler.
 
(6) In principle, the C18 or RP pretreatment cartridge is disposable, but in order to save costs, it can be reused after activation and regeneration. The regeneration method is: repeat steps (1) and (2) for regeneration. Generally, one RP column can be regenerated 5 times.
 
1.2 H column, Na column, Ag column and Ag/H column
 
(1) Use a disposable syringe to draw 10 mL of deionized water and push it through the cartridge at a flow rate of 2 to 4 mL/min;
 
(2) The small column is fully activated when placed flat for 30 minutes;
 
(3) Use a disposable syringe to draw the sample solution, push it into the small column at a flow rate of 2~4mL/min, and discard the first 3mL;
 
(4) Collect the following liquid, combine it with a needle filter, and directly enter the ion chromatography for analysis, or transfer it to a sample bottle for sample injection analysis through an automatic sampler.
 
Precautions:
 
(1) The H column, Ag column and Ag/H column cannot be regenerated;
 
(2) The Ag column must be used in combination with the H column for better effect;
 
(3) Ag column and Ag/H column are used to remove chloride ions in the sample solution. When the small column adsorbs chloride ions, the part of the filler that adsorbs chloride ions will turn black. When the filler black extends to 2/3 , Do not recommend repeated use. At the interval of repeated use, use a disposable syringe to draw 20 mL of deionized water and push it through the small column at a flow rate of 2 to 4 mL/min for cleaning to avoid cross contamination.
 
(4) When activating the cleaning cartridge, be sure to push the liquid vertically from the syringe to the cartridge, and let it stand for 20 minutes.
